New Yundum woman in court for having two husbands

New Yundum woman

A woman from New Yundum in the West Coast Region has appeared in court accused of marrying two men. 

According to Standard Newspaper, Isatou Sey faced Magistrate Peter Adoh Che of the Brikama Magistrates Court charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit felony and bigamy. 

She is accused of tying the knot with Muhammed Drammeh when she was already married to Momodou Jallow.  

Isatou, who was unrepresented by a lawyer, pleaded not guilty.  

She was granted bail after a brief mention at the Brikama Magistrates Court. Her two husbands were also charged with conspiring to commit a felony.
