A 20-year- old boy said he is supporting President Adama Barrow and his government because they respect the rule of law, democracy and fundamental rights.
In an interview with What’s On-Gambia, Momodou Jallow, who uses the name Pato Gitteh Jallow on Facebook, said: “President Barrow is honest, strong and respects the rights of Gambians. He is a hero by sacrificing everything to contest in the December 1 presidential election.”
He said The Gambia is now free from illegal arrests, detention, torture and harassment.
Momodou disclosed that he was a die-hard Mama Kandeh supporter, but dumped the GDC leader after discovering he is not “a serious politician.”
“I dumped Kandeh because he is not a serious politician. He is a hypocrite. I don’t like his style of politicking. I also came to realise that Kandeh and Jammeh are the same. He rejected the results of the National Assembly elections saying it was not free and fair just like his boss.”
The 20-year-old revealed that he is ready to take a bullet for President Adama Barrow because he appreciates his leadership and wants him to achieve most of his campaign promises.
Momodou was born and raised in Jarra Soma but currently lives in Serre Kunda. He attended Tahir Senior Secondary School, where he was well-known as a strong critic of the former government.
