Gambians who want to see and listen to Kenyan professor, PLO Lumumba will have to fork out D1500 for the privilege.
The professor, who is one of the most in-demand voices in Africa, is visiting The Gambia for the first time and is expected to deliver a speech on the impact of corruption on development and the way forward for the continent on Friday, 9th February at QCity.
PLO is also expected to return at the QCity the next day for another speech on youth employment and good governance.
Born in 1962, PLO is a lawyer who holds a PhD from the University of Ghent in Belgium. He’s a staunch Pan Africanist who is widely adored by young Africans.
The Kenyan professor is invited to The Gambia by the Citizenship Engagement Group (CEG) with support from their international partners.
