OPINION: We can't afford to repeat the mistakes of the past

You know you have a problem when your president thinks it's ok to accept gifts from anonymous business people.

You know you have a problem when your legislators think its ok to accept money from the president.

You know you have a problem when your government think the only way to prosperity is to beg for foreign aid. They scavenge and beg as if that's the only way to stay alive!

You know you have a problem when the masses value wealth more than they value work.

You know you have a problem when the president's utmost priority is to consolidate power. Whilst the majority of the masses languish in extreme poverty. No, not this time!!

You know you have a bigger problem when the poorest amongst the masses defend the same government that's doesn't have them in their list of priorities.

Gambia. if Barrow decides to squander his chance of becoming the greatest president in our history. Let's not hesitate to re-organize, re-energize and register to bring about change once more. In the process proved that sovereignty resides in the people.

In this country, everywhere you look there is work to be done. We can't afford to repeat the mistakes of the past.

Gambia, we stand on the crossroads of history. We can make the right choices and meet the challenges of our time.
