Mufti Menk will lead Friday prayers at the Pipeline Mosque, according to Ebrima Jaiteh of the Amal Foundation.
According to the itinerary released by the foundation, the global Islamic scholar will arrive at the Banjul International Airport tomorrow, on Thursday at 18: 30. Later that evening, he would have dinner with members of the Supreme Islamic Council.
Mufti will spend Friday morning visiting schools in the Greater Banjul Area before travelling to Pipeline lead Jumma prayers.
He would then go on to the State House to meet the President and some of his ministers.
On Saturday afternoon, the famous scholar will be at Independence Stadium to deliver a public lecture that is expected to attract thousands of Gambians.
Mufti’s visit will end on Sunday.
