The Gambia’s most beautiful light-skinned politician, Fatima Sarr has recently joined the United Democratic Party (UDP).
The former US-based migrant joined the country’s biggest political party after meeting some of the party’s female heavyweights including Aji Yam Secka.
In an interview with Kerr Fatou, Fatima disclosed she joined the UDP in late 2018, but it wasn’t until in February that she started actively participating in their activities.
According to her, the UDP, which is led by retired lawyer Ousainou Darboe, is a party that has the people’s interest at heart.
Fatima is the first woman in the country’s history to have her nomination accepted by Independent Electoral Commission for mayor in the Kanifing Municipality. But she later withdrew from the race “due to personal reasons.”
The light-skinned beauty was among the speakers at the recent UDP rally in Jarra, which was attended by hundreds of party militants.
