Swedish-based Gambian singer, Mbarr Faal has released a catchy single, Dream. The 19-year-old was born and raised in Sweden. 

Speaking about her new single, she said: “The dream song is about the perfect partner that you always dream about, the one you wish you have.” 

Although born and raised in Sweden, Mbarr talks so proud about her roots, and how important it is to know where you come from. With an incredible number of Gambian fans, she visits the country every year. 

Gambian international singer/producer, Singateh has contributed in the production of the Dream single. 

“Mbarr is a talented young singer. I’m sure she will become a big star in the future. We should all support her, “ said Singateh. 

The young singer’s love for music began at the age of six, and she is slowly learning about the industry. 

“I’m interested in literature and I write my own songs. For me, it’s important to be able to express my feelings as an individual. I hope people can relate to my songs,” she told What’s On Gambia’s Sutay Dampha.
