Fabakary Tombong Jatta’s stop in the Upper River Region has been nothing short of glorious as he received a hero’s welcome from APRC supporters.

The former ruling party is currently touring the country to meet their supports.

According to sources on the tour, the APRC interim leader was warmly received in the Upper River Region, where many assured him of their support.

One of the most outspoken members of the party, Ousman Rambo Jatta wrote on Facebook: “URR was kaboom!”

Another prominent member, Lamin Tamba also wrote: “APRC is all about the average Gambian. Last three days, Gambians have expressed the desire to return APRC to government. The abysmal and rapid collapse of The Coalition has brought back hardship in people's kitchens, after 20 years of a year-on-year improvement of lives and livelihoods.”

He continued: “APRC will have a second coming! No doubt! Our love of Gambia, believe in Gambians, unity, self-reliance and progress is on full display at this difficult hour.”

Following URR, Fabakary Tombong Jatta is next headed to the Central River Region, where he is also expecting thousands of party supporters to welcome him.
