Yes, he is the eldest child of President Adama Barrow and First Lady Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow, but Mohummed, popularly known as Baba, still shows respect to those around him.

Baba lives in the USA, where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.  He was recently in The Gambia for the Christmas and New Year holiday.

Some of the young people who met him during his stay described him as a “friendly and down-to-earth kind of a guy.”

“He is simply normal, very relatable,” said one Ansu Keita.

Baba was a final year student at Nusrat Senior Secondary School when his father won the 2016 presidential elections.  One of his former school mates remembers him as a dedicated student.

“He was a clever student, who also likes sports.”

Baba is still athletic, reportedly playing football with friends in his free times.
