Afrodeezy is now the Banjul Nightlife (BNL) host, replacing Ida Bidwell.

The former Afri-radio presenter/DJ is well-known in the Gambian entertainment industry. Her younger sister, Mam Malen (the nation’s golden girl) is also into TV presenting.

The producer of BNL, Moeblac is yet to make any official announcement. Ida Bidwell, who used to host the show, was his wife. She waved goodbye to BNL after their famous divorce.

“I know Afrodeezy will take BNL to the next level. She is very intelligent, bubbly and likeable,” said Sheikh Aba, a huge fan of the former radio DJ.

Banjul Nightlife, aired on GRTS every Sunday, is the most watched entertainment TV show in the country.
