Charles Jaw student wins first national kids public speaking contest

Eloquent, charismatic, coherently clear and audible as the former USA president, Modou Jallow, known as Obama, won the Kids Podium held at the Djembe Beach Hotel on Sunday.

The 14-year -old stunned the spectators with his amazing execution of words and his transitional flow of ideas.

Nicknamed Obama due to his oratory skills, he is tipped to become the best public speaker in The Gambia.

Modou, a native of Bundung, is currently attending Charles Jow Memorial Academy.

As the winner of the Kids Podium, he went home with over D50,000 worth of cash and items.

He is born to Fatou Bah and Samba Batch Jallow.
