Assane Ndiaye was recently forced to cancel his October performances in the country, organized by Lamin Cham.
The Senegalese star was to perform last weekend at the Brikama Jokor and Pencha Bi Hall, but Lamin Cham said the concerts were cancelled after pressure from ‘some of his own Gambian brothers’.
A humiliated Champion DJ, arranged a press conference to clarify to the public what exactly led to the cancellation. He was hoping to rake in thousands of dalasi from ticket sales.
He told his Facebook followers: “….It's sad we are busy fighting each other in this small society than supporting each other.”
According to reports reaching What’s On-Gambia, the NAWEC Staff Association forced Assane Ndiaye to say NO to Lamin Cham.
The national water and electricity company has already booked the famous singer for their annual gala dinner taking place soon.
