Chepeh bou graw: Is Suki Secka the nastiest Gambian diva in the USA?

An American news website has described The Gambia’s Suki Secka as one of the worst people to grace reality television ever.

Suki, who moved to the USA at the age of eight, was one of the contestants in MTV’s reality cooking series, House of Food.  She is a girl who aspires to become the world’s sexist chef.

As a contestant in the House of Food, Suki was living under the same roof with seven other young aspiring chefs.

According to the American website, Rant Chic, she was a supreme diva who had no problem speaking her mind and stirring up drama.  The Gambian girl was the most hated contestant.

“Suki’s nasty attitude towards her fellow competitors left her with only two friends,” wrote Rant Chic’s Jessica Lynn.

She continued: “Now I know reality television is all about drama, but MTV has truly chosen a villain for their show this time.”

During a press tour, shortly before the release of the House of Food trailer, Suki was quoted saying:

“I definitely do rethink a lot of my personality now that I’ve kind of seen a little bit and look back on how I behaved. But I just have a very strong personality, and that’s just who I am.”

The aspiring chef was selected to take part in the MTV reality cooking series, because of her passion for cooking and food culture. Like many other young Gambian girls, she was taught how to cook by her mum.
