Rumours reaching What’s On-Gambia revealed the Banjul-born international lawyer, recently donated thousands of Dalasi to a student who was travelling abroad for further studies.

Essa, who once worked at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, is the lead counsel at the Truth Reconciliation and Reparation Commission (TRRC).

According to a source, the lawyer knows how to share and donate money where it matters.

In an interview with Kerr Fatou, he disclosed that his father raised him with deeply-held philanthropic values. He always encouraged him to create loving relationships and make productive contributions to society.
