Gambian international singer, Singateh has announced the birth of his first child with fiancée, Betty Marong.

In a statement posted on his Facebook wall, Singateh said the baby, born in Norway, is a blessing in his life.

“Welcome to my world my little princess, my queen, my angel and of course my girlfriend, such a blessing to have a fine girl like you.  Love you with all of my heart God bless you.”

The Rejoice hit maker’s relationship with Betty Marong was a well-kept secret. Betty was born in The Gambia and moved to Norway to join her family. She is a well-respected member of the Gambian community in Oslo.

Since the announcement of his baby’s birth, Singateh’s Facebook  wall has been inundated with messages of congratulations from fans in different parts of the world.

“Many congrats dear. She is just precious Ma shaa Allah. May she grow up to be all that you wish and pray for her in shaa Allah . You are blessed!” wrote Ameena Jobe in Sweden

Singateh is currently in The Gambia, but according to reliable information reaching What’s On-Gambia, he is leaving for Norway next week.
