A source familiar with the case told What’s On-Gambia that before dying, Njol reportedly named Lamin Camara and Fatoumatta Jallow as the individuals who assaulted him. This revelation reportedly prompted the police to arrest the pair as they investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
Njol was known in the Brikama area as a notorious pickpocket, frequently operating around the busy garage area behind the police station, often targeting unsuspecting travelers.
