Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow and Fatima Jabbe Maada Bio’s drama just got more tense

New details are emerging about the fall-out between Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow and her Sierra Leonean counterpart, Fatima Jabbe Maada Bio.

The two First Ladies were once said to be best friends, with Fatoumatta and some of her staff even attending the launching of Fatima’s Hands Off Our Girls Campaign in Freetown in 2018.

However, reports reaching What's On-Gambia revealed their relationship soured recently and the two are drifting further and further apart from each other.

The Sierra Leonean First Lady was in the country last week and, of course, some Gambians were at the airport to welcome her, but her former BFF was noticeably absent.

Fatoumatta was also missing from journalist Fatou Camara's Heroes Awards, where Fatima was the special guest of honour.

Now, people want to know what happened.

"There is a lot of tensions between the two, and Fatima's controversial visit has widened the gulf between them," said a source close to the Office of the First Lady.

It seems whatever has gone wrong between the two First Ladies is likely to dog their relationship for some time to come.

About Fatima

She is half-Gambian and was the owner of Fabecs Promotion. Some of her former flames include former "Yahoo Boy" Muhammed Lamin Sanneh, alias Tin Tin and retired professional footballer Seyfo Soley.

Fatima was also very close to former President Yahya Jammeh. She once declared: "Every country in Africa should send their leaders just for three hours to get a true lecture from my President Yahya Jammeh on how a good leader should be. My president is one man that every African or friends of Africa should try to know and emulate due to his leadership qualities."
