The popular TV show, Banjul Nightlive (BNL) is still in crises. Below is a letter we received from an insider:
I am not here to talk about Ida and Moeblac’s divorce because it’s none of my business, saiy daganna, tass daganna. Some people should be very careful about the things they comment on that have to do with family and marital issues.
Ida has been a brand of Gamcel for too long now, she used to do almost all their adverts on TV with Yaay Ministirr. She made a name for herself on advertisements way before she got married.
Moeblac and Ida have accomplished a lot together within this short period of time. She is the back bone of the BNL TV show. The reason why I said that is because she made so much possible for BNL.
Moeblac is hardworking; the production is always on point. After reading your last post that Ida was not allowed to continue with BNL, I have this to say:
If Ida was not good at what she does, the production won't be useful and the show would have died. Most people watch the show because of how she spices it up with the interviews, her looks, and how good she dresses. Ida moi horomii BNL, no doubt.
Gamcel sponsored BNL with half a million dalasi and it all happen because of Ida and the good relationship she has with company. She is not only the presenter but she makes things happen for the show. Now you will agree with me that both parties play a very important role. It shouldn't be one sided, because they both work so hard for this show to get to where it is today. Moeblac’s work won't have paid off if Ida didn't manage to sign the contract with Gamcel.
if I can recall when Moeblac’s sister was launching her album, back then nobody knew who she really was, Ida played a great role in helping her get sponsorship from Gamcel with over two hundred thousand dalasi spent to cover the promotion and it was a huge success.
The contract agreement signed by Ida Bidwell for sponsorship from Gamcel is still valid. If it’s true that she is coming up with her own show, I wish her all in best. Star laa!
