“I Regret Everything!” Side Chick Opens Up About Two Pregnancies With Deputy Ambassador

A woman who claims to have been involved in an affair with a married deputy ambassador has opened up about her painful experience, revealing that she regrets getting pregnant by him on two separate occasions.

In a letter sent to What’s On-Gambia, the woman recounted her ordeal and shared the circumstances surrounding her relationship with the married diplomat.

Below is her story in her own words:

I am not writing this to seek sympathy; I am writing because I am carrying so much pain inside me, and I genuinely need advice from people who can understand what I have been through.

The Deputy Ambassador and I have known each other since 2021. What started between us was not about money, status, or what he could give me. I loved him. I trusted him. I believed the promises he made to me.

I gave him something that was extremely precious to me: my virginity, because I believed I was giving myself to the man I would eventually marry. I did not see him as someone I was simply dating. In my heart, I saw him as my future husband.

I gave this relationship my time, my body, my emotions, my loyalty, and my entire heart. I stayed through difficult moments because I believed his promises. I sacrificed so much because I thought there was a future waiting for me at the end of all of it.

But today, I am left asking myself: Was all my love ever enough?

I went through two (2) abortions because of this relationship. Those are experiences I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Nobody knows the emotional pain, the fear, the tears, and the things I had to deal with privately. I kept going because I believed the promises of marriage.

But the marriage never happened.

After years of believing, waiting, forgiving, and hoping, I finally realized that I could not continue living this way.

When he came to The Gambia, I told him that I was done. I told him I no longer wanted a relationship with him. I only wanted to walk away and have peace.

I even told him that I wanted my virginity back.

I know people may laugh at that statement, but what I meant was simple: I wish I could go back to the girl I was before I gave myself to him. I wish I could erase the pain, the regrets, the tears, the disappointments, and everything I sacrificed because I believed I was building a marriage.

I cannot physically get my virginity back. I know that. But emotionally, I desperately want to find that innocent version of myself again.

For a long time, I felt like I had been used. I felt like I gave everything to someone who did not value what I gave. I felt like I was only important when he wanted me physically. And realizing that after giving someone years of your life is a pain that is difficult to explain.

But I also take responsibility for the choices I made. I was in love. I was hopeful. I believed the promises I was given. I was not stupid I was simply trusting someone I loved.

Today, I am no longer that same girl.
