President Adama Barrow welcomed his Diaspora supporters to the State House in Banjul last week to thank them for endorsing him for re-election in December 2021.

Shortly after they met with the president, famous US-based comedian Baba Jaa, aka Sering Thiapathioly, took to his Facebook account to thank Barrow for his hospitality.

He wrote: "I just met with H.E President Adama Barrow today at the State House. I have good news for all Gambians in the diaspora. President BARROW forgot to give me the brown envelope though."

Baba Jaa and his colleagues were among the VIP guests during the launching of the newly formed National People's Party (NPP). They vowed to help Barrow win back the State House.
