She is the country’s first female club DJ, and also well known for her enviable assets.

Jatou Mbowe, a.k.a Tha Boss Chick, is co-presenting Loud, a new online talk show. She is joined by popular DJ, Gfaal and radio presenter, Sista Njie.

The first episode, which is now available online, has already scored 1,000 views. Jatou and her two friends are excited about some of the positive reviews they have been receiving.

One of their biggest supporters is film producer, DJ Lil Sisqo. He was seemingly impressed with Loud’s first episode.

“Nice one folks! Keep them coming. I enjoyed it, shout out to you all!” he wrote on Facebook.

But some critics think there is still a lot of work to be done if Loud wants to increase its viewership.

One Sulayman Drammeh said: “You all need to fire your cameraman! The editor too..”

Movado Ceesay in Finland added: “Loud Gambia needs a lot of improvement. But anyways you are trying.”

Loudis said to be The Gambia’s first online talk show. According to Jatou and her co-presenters, some of their followers on Twitter include world stars like Snoop Lion and Bruno Mars.
