Fatou Camara is once again thrown in the spotlight, with rumours that she is secretly dating one the country’s leading rappers, Gee. 

According to radio kangkang, the TV presenter has a strong penchant for young guys. A Gee fan said: “Fatou is always commenting on Gee’s Facebook wall and also keeps playing his music during the Fatu Show. This could be a little bit strange to many Gambians and the rumour isn’t going to go away if she continues offering the rapper a ‘super special’ treatment.” 

A Fatu Show fan dismissed the rumour as a fabrication geared towards ridiculing one of the country’s most respected female journalists. 

“Fatou Camara dating Gee – the biggest lie ever in Gambian showbiz,” she added.
