It's the moment Gambian music enthusiasts have been waiting for, the new single from Kerr G Family.

The three-piece boy band have released their single,Linguere (queen in wollof) on International Women’s Day and are now looking to make a splash in the Gambian music industry.

Kerr G Family, formed in 2009, consists of three young singers.  The band is increasingly becoming popular in the Greater Banjul Area.

Band member, Poliman said: “We’re three brothers from the same mum and dad.  I’m Muhammed Cham a.k.a Poliman and my brothers are Ebrima Cham a.k.a Barhama and Ababacar Cham a.k.a DMB. “

He added: “Our debut album is coming maybe in the next 3 years. We are still young and I think we need enough promotion and a huge fan base both locally and international.  But we are working on a mixtape that we intend to release soon.”
