Khadijah Bokum is unquestionably one of the emerging young journalists to watch out for in 2019. She is a news anchor at Paradise TV.
The former headgirl of SOS Hermann Gmeiner High School is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Digital Media at the University of The Gambia.
According to one of her friends:“Khadijah is a good public speaker and that was why she was elected as headgirl during her high school days. She also represented her former school at different debate competitions and earned recognition for her powerful oratory skills.”
The 23-year-old journalist is also heavily involved in different platforms fighting for women empowerment such as MULAWA AFRICA. She also has her own foundation which advocates for the caring of mothers and infants.
Good luck, Khadijah!
