A young man is recovering from a brutal attack after his hand was allegedly cut off during a suspected love triangle involving a married woman.
The shocking incident reportedly happened on the eve of Tobaski. According to sources, the victim was allegedly seen with another man’s wife and fled after noticing the woman’s husband.
Witnesses claimed the husband later followed him to his home, where the young man was reportedly found praying.
“He was on a prayer mat performing Takbir when the husband found him,” a source alleged. “Without hesitation, he attacked and chopped off his hand at the wrist.”
The victim was rushed to Bansang Hospital, where medical staff reportedly attempted to save the severed hand. However, they were unable to reattach it.
Police have since arrested the suspected attacker, who is now in custody as investigations continue.
