A marabout was allegedly paid D11,000 by a former chief in Niamina to kill or put a curse on some prominent citizens of the district.

A source disclosed: "I found a paper in Choya village with the names of Lare Sisay, Bunja Mamanding Ceesay and Solo Marena written on it in Arabic. The marabout's mobile number was also on the paper."

He continued: "I managed to meet the marabout and he disclosed he was paid D11,000 to either kill them or make them mad. I was shocked."

According to him, the trio are prominent citizens of Niamina.

"I have the audios of the marabout explaining how he was approached to eliminate these lions of Niamina. Lare and Bunja Mamanding are my mentors. Solo is the wing of many young people in the region."

Lare, Bunja Mamanding and Solo are still alive.
