AGERA is one of the most famous and charitable US-based Gambian associations. Here are the new executive members of the association led by Haddy Jallow Coulibaly.

Haddy Jallow Coulibaly

Chairwoman

 She is a servant leader who is passionate about her community. As the new Chairwoman of AGERA, Haddy plans to lead by example and create an all-inclusive environment that will stimulate tolerance and bring out the best in all members for the greater good of the Atlanta-Gambian community and beyond. With such a vision, trust and believe that most of you will be tapped to join the change makers and reenergize our community. Upward and Onward!

Haddy is married with two children. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French Language and International Business with a minor in Finance from Georgia State University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Phoenix.

The mother-of-two worked in the financial services industry for over 13 years and currently the VP of Credit at NOW Corp where she leads a talented team of Risk and Operations professionals dedicated to helping small and mid-sized businesses grow fearlessly.

Sainabou Jobe

Vice Chairperson

An active member of AGERA since 2009 who has selflessly served her community over the years. Armed with that, as a Vice Chair, the Atlanta community will be guided by a dynamic duo ready to listen and serve!

Sainabou is married with two sons. She is also an Autism Awareness Advocate who has been instrumental in raising autism Awareness within the community and beyond

 She’s the secretary and co-founder of Gambian Association for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (GAADD), a Georgia nonprofit.

Sainabou holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Clayton State University and a Master’s Degree in Project Management (MPM) from Penn State.  She is an Application Support Specialist for NTT Data and has worked in the IT industry since 2007.

Fatou Madikay Faal

Secretary

She’s a key member of the AGERA Education Team since 2012. Fatou is a devoted mother, full of life and loves to cook.

She’s ready to see growth in the community and to play a critical role in fostering communication and diligence through proper management and utilization of important records such as meeting minutes and the AGERA bylaws.

Tijan Sengore

Treasurer and Finance Committee Leader

 Served as AGERA’s Treasurer for the past 3 years. Tijan is an avid Arsenal supporter who enjoys spending time with his family and close friends.

Fatou Taal-Mbye

Assistant Secretary

Served as an active AGERA member since 2003. Fatou enjoys cooking, watching her favorite shows, and spending time with her family.

She looks forward to working with the new executive team to continue to add value and ensure AGERA delivers its promised mission.

Yamai Sarr

Social Committee Leader

Served as an active AGERA member since 2012. Yamai is result oriented organizer, hardworking and committed to the community.

She looks forward to working and harmonizing with the community to achieve goals and objectives for the greater good. 

Isatou Jallow

Sponsorship Committee Leader

 Isatou is an active AGERA member. She loves sports. She’s a big Redskins, Washington Wizards, Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals fan. 

 Isatou is ready to coordinate and solicit sponsorships for AGERA and its activities to achieve overall goals and objectives.

 Fatou N’jie

Education Committee Leader

An active AGERA member since 2013. Fatou is a bargain hunter and loves to shop. She is ready to work tirelessly to expose young people to opportunities and resources that can help them now and in the future through fun and exciting events.

Kunna Faal- Foon

Public Relation Officer

An active AGERA member since 2015. Kunna is passionate about helping people. She looks forward to maintaining AGERA’s outstanding reputation. She is energized and determined to help achieve goals and objectives.

Mariam Hydara AKA Yam Bombeh

Marketing Committee Leader

Founder of All About Kids Foundation. Yam Bombeh is active in the community, overcomes obstacles, huddles and embraces risks.

She is ready to play a key part in communicating AGERA’s marketing message to the community and beyond. She’s ready to give it her ALL to take A.G.E.R.A to the height it truly deserves.

Mariama Saho AKA Yam Soda

Assistant Treasurer

 Yam likes to spend time with her kids, traveling and shopping. She is honored to be a part of this journey to serve our community with high hopes and expectations to bring more vibrant and exciting events to the community.

Malick Sengore

Auditor

Malick is very active in our community and served in several active roles. He is a proud Boy Scout, passionate about volunteering and looks forward to elevating AGERA to the next level as a well-recognized, result oriented organization. 

Modou Njie AKA Mo

Sports Committee Leader

Mo is a family guy who enjoys hanging out with his kids and loves to travel and meet new people. As one of the founders of the organization, Mo looks forward to working with the A-team. His goal is to make AGERA an all-inclusive entity for all SeneGambians working towards one common goal of making lives better for every family here and back home.

Fatoumatta Ceesay AKA Toul

Assistant Auditor

Toul is a dynamic woman that has great respect and love for people. She loves to travel and cherishes her quiet times. She is excited about using her finance and accounting background to help AGERA foster its goal of maintaining integrity and transparency within AGERA and beyond.

Cassama Ceesay AKA Cassa

Membership Committee Leader

Cassa has been an active AGERA member since 2012. She is excited about using her charm and to persuade and influence youths to join and move AGERA to new heights.
