If you are getting arrested, you would probably like to be arrested by Fatoumatta Jallow. The police officer is gaining a lot of attention not for her ability to apprehend criminals, rather for her good looks.
The Sheikh Hamdan Senior Secondary School graduate is a beautiful young woman doing a job most Gambians wouldn’t expect a lady like her to do.
We are not sure when exactly she joined the police, but Fatoumatta is likely to be in the good books of the senior officers at the Police Headquarters in Banjul.
She was recently in Sweden to attend the International Police Officer Course, a two-week generic police training course for Peace Keeping Operations in order to prepare police officers for assignments in Integrated Peacekeeping Operations.
She is now hoping to get selected for a peace keeping mission in Darfur, Sudan, a dream assignment for many police officers because of the financial gains involved. Peace keepers return to The Gambia with more than D1m.
Fatoumatta has more than one thousand men following her on Facebook, among them event organiser Waka Jagne, journalist Nfally Fadera, musician Yusupha Ngum, former magistrate Dawda A. Jallow and magistrate Omar Jabang.
