It’s another Ramadan, another season of worship, and girls are fond of donning hijab only to drop it once the Holy month ends.
And controversial rapper, Bigg Rozay, couldn’t help but take a swipe at these fraudulent worshippers.
In a chat with What’s On-Gambia, he said: “Many of them are fake and think they can fool God. They do good things only in Ramadan, is the same God after Ramadan (sic).”
Bigg Rozay, a controversy-laden rapper, said worshipping God is not only for Ramadan.
His message to the Ramadan hijabis is: “Be real and be good!”
But he has not used all the nails on girls. Rozay has spared some to crucify boys too.
According to him, there are also boys who pretend to be marakass during the holy month.
“They pray the five prayers and recite the holy Qur’an, but immediately it is over they are back to their old ways,” he said.
Yet Bigg himself is planning to drop some new tunes. But guess when: After Ramadan!
“I want to take Gambian music to another level,” he said.
