One of The Gambia’s Europe-based reggae singers, Ras Askia has allegedly threatened to sue his ex-girlfriend, Haddy Hydara, popularly known as Romey Henry, for money and gifts he gave her during their relationship.

According to a source close to the former couple, Ras Askia was super mad after his radio presenter girlfriend pulled the plug on their three-year relationship.

“He attacked her saying all things. Ras was angry that she dumped him for another guy. He is now threatening to take her to court for money and gifts he gave her.”

The source, who begged for anonymity, further disclosed: “Ras came to Romey’s house crying and later started threatening her.”

The source told What’s On-Gambia that the radio presenter is now dating one Talib (not the KMC mayor) and she is managing his company, MayDay Music Records.

Ras Askia is currently in The Gambia.
