What’s On-Gambia has learnt that Jamaican star, Sizzla Kolonji is performing in the country in May 2014.

He is one of the giants in the reggae industry and his tracks like Simplicity, Dry Cry and Thank You Mamma have enjoyed a lot of airplay by Gambian deejays. 

“Details of the concert have not been finalized yet. Will let you know once all details have been confirmed,” a member of the organizing team told What’s On-Gambia. 

Sizzla’s appearance is part of activities planned for the 11^th edition of the International Roots Festival, scheduled to take place from the 9th – 17th May 2014. 

Popular Jamaican artists hardly ever flop in The Gambia. Sizzla’s concert is expected to attract thousands of reggae lovers from different parts of the country.
