It’s here! Gambino a.k.a Aku Boy has just released his new single, Girlfriend and we have it on repeat!

The talented afrobeat singer told What’s On-Gambia: “The song is a story that interprets love on every basis regardless of where you come from, it also talk about peace in a relationship and people should not fight physically because of love.

“In a nutshell I think I chose to sing about girlfriend because it a current worldwide topic where love is misinterpreted.”

Gambino, who is also an actor, started singing at a very early age, but his debut single, Abuga Africa was released in 2013.

According to him, he is working on his EP and LP simultaneously. The EP is due to drop next year.
