Gambia is beginning to dig the influx of stylish female singers. Nancy Nanz is not the greatest singer, but she’s a stunner. Nana Mboob is also trying to catch some attention.
But Cess Ngom is clearly the most stylish of 2012. She brought style and class to the music industry in a way that hasn’t been seen. During a TV interview with BNL’s Ida Bidwell, she spoke about how she likes to experiment different styles.
When Cess emerged on the music scene, Gambians didn’t just notice her incredible voice, but also her strongly defined sense of style. Her dresses, which are often locally made, are always interesting and eye-catching. Thank God she is married!
Cess Ngom, in her 20s, is one of Gambia’s most talented mbalax singers. She’s the daughter of veteran musician Lie Ngom. Her song Duma La Bayi has more than 18,600 YouTube views.
