Thousands of Gambian music lovers are expected to throng the GCCI Trade Fair Grounds in Bijilo on Saturday, January 17, for Asidik’s highly anticipated album concert.
Speaking to What’s On-Gambia, the “Jutunaya” hitmaker described the show as his first major concert since breaking into the music scene, calling it a defining moment in his career.
“My goal is for the entire country to hear my music and be part of my journey by attending this concert,” Asidik said.
His debut album, Sateh Bandero, has already attracted massive attention, with several tracks amassing hundreds of thousands of views across online platforms. The project has further cemented his growing influence in Gambian music.
The event is also expected to draw some of the country’s most popular artists, including ST and Jizzle, adding to the excitement surrounding the show.
