Mansata Saidybah has married her best friend, Ebson Njie. The couple has known each other for many years.

Mansata moved to America to join her parents when she was only two. She is now a stylish, and a popular YouTube beauty Vlogger based in Atlanta.

The young beauty tied the knot with Ebson in a lengthy ceremony held both in The Gambia and the USA. Read below our chat with her:

What’s On-Gambia: How long have you been together with your beau, before tying the knot?

Mansata: We actual never dated (laughs). We were best friends that became husband and wife.

When exactly was your wedding held, and where?

We got married January 19, 2014 in The Gambia and the ngomor and reception were held May 16-17, 2014 in Atlanta, GA.

How many guests?

Thengomor was about 350 people and the reception was 550.

How long did it take to plan your wedding?

It took me four months to plan everything with the help of my family, friends, and njekeys Bassi and Muna  Sidibeh.

Your parents also played a significant role. Tell us about them and why was the wedding so, so special to them?

My parents are Alhagie Lamin Saidy and Ajie Ndey Kumba Cham. They helped tremendously with everything. My mother bought me all my outfits for the wedding, so all I had to do was get dresses and look cute. I'm their oldest daughter so they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. 

Any honeymoon planned?

Not at the moment, but maybe this fall. With all the wedding planning I need a big long vacation.

What would you advise girls, who are still searching for Mr. Right?

I'll say don't search for him just let nature takes its course. Don't consume yourself looking for Mr. Perfect in the superficial or material things because at the end of the day Mr. Right might be right in front of your eyes and you not even notice him.
