It looks like President Emmanuel Macron has a soft spot for The Gambia’s beautiful vice president, Fatoumatta Jallow Tambajang.
The French president was kind of smitten with the 68-year-old when they met during the Global Partnership for Education Finance Conference held recently in Dakar, Senegal.
The pair could be seen smiling and exchanging playful glances while preparing to take a photo together.
Vice President Tambajang once lived in France, where she bagged her Bachelor’s Degree in French at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. One of her daughters also studied in France.
The Global Partnership for Education Finance Conference, which was held in Dakar, was the largest ever education financing event, with more than 10 heads of state, 100 ministers, and 1,200 participants, including GPE Global Ambassador Rihanna.
The event resulted in commitments of US$110 billion from developing countries and US$2.3 billion from donors.
