You’re fired! Africell cuts ties with Killa Ace

The rapper Killa Ace is facing backlash for his controversial single, Ku Buga C Geta G. Not only is he apparently on self-imposed exile in neighbouring Senegal, but also one of his major sponsors, Africell, has cut all ties with him.

According to an insider, the leading private mobile telecommunications company has decided to no longer sponsor Killa Ace or any event related to him.

Africell’s radio station, Afri Radio along Kairaba Avenue also will no longer air the Cypher Hip Hop Show, which was produced and presented by Killa Ace and his rap movement.

Our source revealed: “DJs and presenters on Afri Radio have also been warned not to play Killa Ace’s songs.”

The outspoken rapper created uproar recently when he released Ku Buga C Geta G, a song critical of the government. He is now based in Dakar.
