A 70-year-old man died on Sunday in Dakar, following an altercation in which his 30-year-old wife allegedly bit his penis through his pants.

According to Senegalese newspaper L'Observateur, the man was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. His wife was later arrested by police.

It all began on Saturday night when the wife refused to turn off the television in the living room as the 70-year-old was preparing to go to bed.

Furious at his wife's refusal, he pushed her on the bed and started beating her. While trying to strangle her, the woman sank her teeth into his penis.

Neighbors found them with scratches on their bodies and bleeding from the man's private parts. The husband was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
