A photo of Essa Faal in the streets of Banjul distributing food aid to needy families has garnered more than 9,000 likes on What’s On-Gambia‘s Facebook page.
Posted last week, it surpassed the number of likes achieved by Gina Bass after winning the women’s 200m at the 12th African Games in Rabat, Morocco.
The TRRC lead counsel is one of the prominent members of the Gambia National Fundraiser for COVID-19, an organisation that is reaching out to families in need of food assistance during the coronavirus pandemic.
Commenting on the photo, one Muhammed Sankareh wrote: ” I ask Allah bless and guide you and reward you abundantly for every single dalasi and time you spend on this worthy course.”
Another Facebook user, Rohey Jane commented: “Thank you so much Essa Faal for your consideration. May Allah protect, bless and reward you and everyone doing as you did abundantly.”
