Sarjoe Mballow-Barrow has emerged last week after five months out of the public eye, ending an absence that sparked speculation about her whereabouts.
She was in Jimara, Upper River Region to join her husband, President Adama Barrow, at a meeting with the people of Gambisara.
The couple, who were all smiles, received a rousing welcome. They spent time greeting the crowd of well-wishers who began gathering in the village centre hours before their arrival.
Sarjoe was last seen in public in June when she was celebrating her birthday at the State House with close friends and family members.
That long absence sparked speculation about her whereabouts.
The President's second wife is also inactive on social media. Her Facebook page has less than 10,000 followers and her last post was on the 8th June.
