One of the Scorpions who was in Cameroon for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) has been called out by his baby mama's best friend for allegedly abandoning his 7-year-old daughter.

Aisha Njie accused the famous footballer (name withheld) of being a terrible dad, saying: " He denied being the father of the innocent child. You cannot be this heartless and expect God to see you through. Let him ask himself why he was always on the bench during the AFCON. Jiguene ken dukor torohal."

She disclosed the Scorpion and her friend were in a serious relationship before he left for Europe to play professional football.

"They started dating in 2012. One of her schoolmates introduced them during a prom night," she said.

Aisha further revealed: "The baby mama is so upset that her daughter has no bond with her father. I advised her to take the matter to court. The child is now 7 years old and he never gave a butut for her maintenance. It's the mum taking care of her. She's paying the school fees and everything she needs. She's really doing a great job for that child and everyone respects and adores her for that."

She continued: "I heard that the child saw her father in a restaurant during his last visit to The Gambia before they went to Cameroon. He saw the child but acted like he doesn’t know her. Since then the mother told me that the child has always been disturbing her to see her father."
