ENC has quit West Coast Radio to join Paradise FM, according to reliable information reaching What’s On-Gambia.
The resignation came few months after his fiancée, Sista Njie left the same radio station. A source told What’s On-Gambia that since she left, ENC was in an ‘awkward position’ – wondering whether to leave in solidarity with her or stay.
Rumours are now circulating that Sista’s thorny relationship with the West Coast management played a role in ENC’s decision. But in an interview with What’s On-Gambia, the popular selecta cum singer said he resigned for ‘personal reasons’.
“I know lot of people will think that I left because of her. Nothing close to that! I just want to grow from the five years I served at West Coast,” said ENC
He added: “west Coast is a giant station and Uncle Peter shall always remain my uncle and BOSS, but I’m a man of career so I have to pursue it.”
