A young woman, who begged for anonymity, alleged that a drug store owner at Sanchaba Kandeh Ya, told her that sex with him would make her vaginal infection disappear.
In a message to What's On-Gambia, she wrote: "I want to ask if treating infection involves having sex with the patient. The pharmacist in my neighborhood suggested that, but I refused."
She continued: "I will go there again and try to get him recorded. I will bring you evidence. I wonder how many patients he slept with."
A senior pharmacist revealed to What's On-Gambia: "There are idiots among us and they are spoiling the business."
