Musician Barhama was last week named national brand ambassador of SOS Children's Villages in The Gambia.

He wrote on his Facebook page: "Alhamdulillah! It’s another great accomplishment and an opening of a new chapter. I am honoured and grateful to be named the national brand ambassador of the mighty SOS children’s villages in The Gambia."

Barhama continued: "Thanks to the entire management of SOS children’s villages in The Gambia for choosing me as your new national brand ambassador."

The famous singer will be responsible for furthering awareness of issues affecting vulnerable children in the country.
