British woman appeals to Gambians to help her locate stolen car

A British woman is appealing to Gambians to help her locate her stolen car.

Jennifer Massey, who lives in The Gambia, was away in England when her car was stolen from inside her villa in Brufut on Tobaski day.

She told What’s On-Gambia: “It has been reported to the police who are investigating the theft. The car was stolen from inside a locked compound. I believe that the car keys and the original registration document may have been taken from inside my house.”

Jennifer believes the car is still within the country hidden somewhere. She was in Guinea Bissau recently and was able to confirm that it was not smuggled there.

“If anyone sees the car, can they please contact the police or whatsAPP me on 3920913. Please ask the thief to return the car or let me know where it is so that I can collect it.”

She added: “This is an extremely upsetting experience and the audacity of the thief is shocking.”
