Nana Mboob has dismissed rumours that she is not on good terms with her in-laws, and that her marriage is on the rocks.

“I have no problem with my in-laws. I am just from their house. I don’t live with them because my husband has his own house,” She told What’s On-Gambia.

According to reports reaching us, Nana was once asked by her in-laws to return a car gifted by her husband.

“Nobody is crazy to do that. My husband will do everything for me, I know that. I don’t know who is doing this, but they are just jealous.”

The famous singer, who’s currently on a break, insisted that her marriage is ‘fine’ and she is lucky to have the ‘best husband on earth’.

She said: “My husband is so caring and peaceful. He hates problems. We dated before getting married.”

Nana also dismissed the rumour that she took her semester husband to the marabouts to gain control over him. “I am my own marabout. I know what my husband wants; nobody cooks for him, only me. I am a good cook (laughs). I take good care of him.  He will die for me and  that's what’s killing some people.”

The Brikama hit maker revealed that her husband just finished building a house for her in Kotu. She is now busy planning to throw an epic house warming party.

On her music career, Nana said: “Music is my life and I believe in myself.  I can’t live without music.”
