Brain Kracker made history last Saturday! His mixtape launching at the Alliance Franco on Kairaba Avenue was abruptly ended after fans started fainting. 

The venue was packed full with more than 3,000 fans, causing a security risk. 

“He could only perform 3 tracks with fans all around him. The stage was packed with people. And it was terrible at the gate, most of the guest artists had to scale the fence to come in and the band members too, because of the large number of people outside forcing themselves in,” said Brain Kracker’s manageress, Suebreeze Coli. 

It was a completely new experience for the rap-mbalax star.  He was surprised to see thousands of fans throwing themselves at him. 

A Gambian music pundit said it is a new level of adoration for Brain Kracker. 

Manageress Suebreeze added: “We were not expecting that huge crowd. It was history!” 

Fans started queuing for tickets as early as 21:00, surging forward with excitement. The venue was full to capacity even before it was time for the Dama Yii hit maker to make his way to the stage. 

The organisers deemed it was too much of a security risk to continue with the concert and so the launching was suddenly ended. 

Brain Kracker wrote on Facebook: “I’m speechless, I can’t say much but alhamdulilah to God be the glory.” 

It turned out the fans that were injured were not so unlucky after all. The rap-mbalax star paid them a visit in the hospital to spend a quality time with them.
