The month of Ramadan is a time for reflection, spiritual renewal and peace. During this period, it is very rare to see a woman that is not modestly dressed in public.

One of this year’s ‘Ramadan hijabis’ is Oumie Fofana. She is a popular socialite girl and fashionista.

The mother-of-two has decided to cover up, and this she started last Sunday (the first day of Ramadan). She wrote on Facebook: “30 days Hijab challenge starts today, Ramadan Kareem everyone, May Allah accept all our dua's.”

During the 30-day dawn-to-dusk fast, girls are constantly reminded to be mindful of their dress, avoid wrongdoing and make effort to perfect their behavior.

Oumie is not likely to continue with the hijab after Ramadan. Come on, she is part of Absolute Glam Entertainment, a company that is well known for organizing social events.
