Eddi Conta has released a brand new single, Siloo.

Siloohas already been well received by fans and critics since its debut online. The Stockholm-based afro-manding singer told What’s On-Gambia: “The song came through the frustration of seeing the media coverage on African youths that lost their lives in the struggle to enter Europe in search of a better life.”

He continued:  “The back way has taken the lives of many young Africans and what many do not know is that this has been going on for decades. It has not just started. Only God knows the amount of lives that got wasted to this extreme journey. This song is part of my contribution to the fight against the back way.”

Eddi, who is currently busy building a recording studio in Sweden, is about to drop his latest album. He is the son of the Gambian reggae legend, Demba Conta.
