Famous tailor, Morr Ngeran has denied rumours that he betrayed his uncle by opening his own workshop in an interview with Paradise FM’sNdanaan online talk show hosted by Oulay Jaw.

Morr admitted he had misunderstandings with his uncle, who was his boss for seven years.

He however said he still regards his uncle as his mentor, even though their relationship has cracks to mend.

“I heard your uncle brought you to his workshop, taught you how to sew for seven good years. And after you left and opened a workshop next to him, taking all his customers,” presenter Oulay quizzed him.

Morr replied: “No, I did not take his customers and he knows that, and God knows [as well]. There were some customers that like me and they followed me.”

He added: “It is God that separated us and it was a difficult moment for both of us. But now we are friends.”

Asked if he is the sole owner of his Latri Kunda workshop, Morr responded: “No, I have a partner. She is the main reason why I left my uncle’s workshop.”

Morr Ngeran is a talented tailor who works magic with garments. His work is always beyond belief. So, it’s no surprise that his uncle never wanted him to leave.
